Thunderstorms and a cold front moved in overnight and I
awoke to temperatures in the low 50s with a stiff north wind. It was a
ride-to-stay-warm kind of day. Road and weather conditions were not
the best and I just tried to power through it. I was disappointed when I
reached Oklahoma City because the route maps did not go near the
downtown soI did not get a chance to view the city.
I reached Yukon, on the SW side of Oklahoma City, a distance of 77 miles. I should be in Texas by
Sunday afternoon.
